The restaurant, Salt café & bistro, was opened in 2013 in the downtown of Egilsstaðir. At Salt, the emphasis is on a family-friendly atmosphere, a light and enjoyable ambiance, and a diverse menu where everyone should be able to find something to their liking. Pizzas, burgers, and a selection of diverse dishes are available, as well as a variety of coffee and cake options.
